Europe Direct Information Centre Osijek (EDIC Osijek) - link between citizens and the European Union - provides access to information about the European Union and promotes and supports participatory citizenship at the local and regional level.

On 6 October 2016 the European Border and Coast Guard Agency has been officially launched, less than a year after it was first proposed by the European Commission.
On Thursday 29 September, an informative workshop on experiences of entrepreneurs in preparation and implementation of EU projects was held in organisation of EDIC Osijek. In the workshop, the programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, as well as experiences of participants in this program were presented.
